Contrast

 Contrast makes stories more interesting. It means 'a difference between people, ideas, situations, things etc that are being compared' in a dictionary. Especially, difference between people and situation are used in a story. For example, there are two men. One is very kind while another is strict. First, the strict man scold people. Next, the very kind  man comfort them. It makes readers look him more kind. If the strict man doesn't exist, the kind man is only a kind man. We use contrast to emphasize things that we want to tell readers. Thank you.
